Is it the last season?

Rumor has it that this MAY NOT be the last season of scrubs. Stay tuned. I've seen several articles about NBC Execs ordering an 8th season.

"Will They? Won't They? OH MY GAWD!"

Bill Lawrence, The Creator and Scrubs Mastermind has stated oh-so-many times that JD and Elliot will NOT get back together, but we here at the Scrubs Fan Site, can't help but think maybe he's playing mind games with us.

From a article at CanMag:

"This show is not Sam and Diane," said Lawrence. "It's not Cheers. I always knew that. I always hated that if you have a group of characters which are male and female, are single, similar and put any aspects of romantic comedy, the thing to fear as a producer is the promotions will be, 'Will JD and Elliot?' and we didn't want to be that show. I think we're not that show. I think we got away from it and I think it was an effective tool to end the year to have two dysfunctional people screw up their respective relationships."

That said, what if people want them to get together? Can Scrubs have it both ways? "What we're arguing about now amongst the writers is that we actually watch our fan base on the Internet, a bunch of websites about the show. People are pretty evenly divided on whether or not that couple ends up together or not. We're just going to try and I don't want to say give the people what they want. That's too trite. But hopefully resolve the show in a way that people are satisfied if they want that couple to be together, and people are satisfied if they don't want them to be together."

WTF there Bill? Quit messing with our heads!

It sounds like the writers aren't even sure how this season will play out. One thing is for sure, this season is definitly the most hyped (well duh, it's the last one), and will probably be the breakout ratings season for the series.

Most of the scrubs fans have only just recently found the show!

In a way, i'm already depressed that this is the last season, but I understand that sometimes you just gotta quit while you're ahead. Oh well.

Laverne Returns! Well, Sorta.

While doing some research on the show I found out that Aloma Wright, the awesome actress that portrayed the sassy churchgoing Nurse, Laverne Roberts is coming BACK during the final season of scrubs.

There's a Catch.

She's not going to play Laverne, she's going to play Shirley. No, I'm not kidding. Apparently Nurse Roberts had a twin sister we didn't know about. Of course Aloma is going to put on a wig, but this is an interesting turn of events for the final season, we'll see how it plays out. Apparently Shirley is going to be the POLAR OPPOSITE of Laverne. An Alcoholic Single Mother.

One word for this news: Whoa.

Ever notice how J.D. and Turk have a penchant for 1 hit wonder songs? Men At Work, Young M.C., that song that eddie murphy did. I dunno, i just noticed it after watching a VH1 special on the top 100 one hit wonders.

My Cold Shower

Definitly one of my favorite episodes, and im a scrubs fanatic.

Best use of music in the show I've seen since "My Old Lady" and "Hallelujah" by Jeff Cale.

"Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional, captures the mood in the room and makes me replay the scene as i write this.

It starts with most of the staff of Sacred Heart in a dry spell:

J.D. is repeatedly denied by Melody to advance past 1st base.
Turk is getting none from his wife since Izzy was born.
The Todd is going through a no sex spell.
Doug, as expected, is not getting any.
Kelso's computer is down and it forces him to have sex with his invalid wife Enid. (No Porno)

It ends with Keith's redo proposal to Elliot and her accepting with the aforementined music playing.

i love this episode, classic scrubs greatness.

Franklyn is on Heros?

I'm not sure (because I don't watch Heros) but I think i saw the guy that plays Franklyn (the lab tech) on Scrubs, is in the NBC Show Heros. Can anyone confirm this?

My Rabbit; My Point of No Return

Welcome to the site everyone! It's the first blog post, and this week's episode was a doozy. It was a 1 hour double episode season finale thing.

By the by: SCRUBS IS NOT ENDING YET: THIS IS THE SEASON FINALE NOT THE SERIES FINALE. (just had to put those rumors to rest)

Kim's back and she needs JD's help. Elliot's freaking out about the wedding. JD is confused as hell.
